Paediatric First Aid Refresher Course
The Resuscitation Guidelines are reviewed every 5 years and at the end of 2025 we saw some changes published and introduced to the UK Resuscitation Guidelines. We have now updated our on-line system and our lesson plans. If you have completed your training with us in the last 3 years your on-line account is still active and you can see any changes on there. Any training that you have completed is still fit for purpose and you do not need to retrain (until your current certificate expires). However, we are going to be delivering some refresher sessions for those of you who have requested this.
During the refresher course you will learn about: Changes to the primary survey Changes to assessing response levels Changes to Paediatric CPR Changes to adult CPR for a casualty on a bed Changes to pad positioning for a defibrillator Changes to infant choking Changes to dealing with an amputation Battery ingestion Jaw thrust technique for suspected spinal injuries
